International Cleaning & Restoration Association (ICRA)

The ICRA is a nonprofit organization of Cleaning, Restoration, and Inspection firms. It is comprised of 7 trade associations, including CRA, MCRA, MSPCA, NEIRC, PACR, NYRCI, and SCRT.

The affiliate associations have united to streamline their administrative organizations, share resources and synergistically move the industry forward.

As an international organization, ICRA will promote educational programs based upon accepted scientific principles and created relationships that assist our members to build profitable business operations.

Our association recognizes and promotes industry certification programs and standards.

CRI updates the SOA Service Provider Guidelines to Include ICRA Membership
Sacramento, CA – The Carpet and Rug Institute recently updated its guidelines for Seal of Approval Service Providers. In addition to its recommendation that firms seeking service provider status be certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) the CRI now suggests membership in the non-profit support and certification group, the International Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA). The CRI Seal of Approval Service Provider agreement now reads:

The SOA Service Provider Plus Program strongly recommends that participants (companies) become IICRC certified firms and/or become a member of ICRA (International Cleaning and Restoration Association).

According to CRI, the ICRA offers enhanced, hands-on certification through their Performance Assessment program for carpet cleaning that compliments the existing IICRC training program. more...

Providence Inc. dba My Flooring Warranty is proud to endorse the International Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA). John Mapes, President of Providence has worked closely with ICRA while they developed the Performance Assessment program for carpet cleaning certification.
